The Twin Cities

Well we finally decided to get internet. I am thrilled because I can finally catch up on my TV shows (The Bachelorette yes I love the drama of it, Bones, The 100, etc.), I don't have to risk going over on my data again, and I am able to blog.

So a little update for everyone.  This Summer Robert's job with Vivint has taken us to the beautiful state of Minnesota.  Right before I left everyone was telling me how beautiful it was here.  However, when we first got here I didn't think that it was that pretty, Seattle and Portland last year far surpassed.  Turns out they had just had an extremely cold and long winter and its May's extreme showers, thunder, and lightening that bring June flowers. It is so pretty here everything is really green and full, and they aren't kidding about the land of 10,000 lakes.  The temperature stays pretty nice but due to all the rain it is quite muggy and humid, and the mosquitoes are awful, bug repellent is a staple just like deodorant.  I also feel bad for all the guys on the team. They have had to knock in the pouring rain quite frequently. In fact one of the guy's car engine got flooded and he got stranded in the area he was knocking.

We live in a place called Eden Prairie. It's a really nice area in a great location! You can walk to Walmart and lots of other stores which is bonus for me because Robert has our car the majority of the time. Our apartment complex is pretty nice. We are living in an apartment that is designed for wheelchair access which is odd.  all out lets are two feet from the ground and the light switches are located three feet from the ground. This took some getting use to especially when you got up to go to the restroom in the middle of the night and couldn't find the light switch on the wall.  The front door has two peep hole one up high and one in the middle of the door, and you could comfortably sit under the stove and sinks with a chair.  We don't have a tub.  Just a roll in shower.  Its pretty spacious for the two of us though and we like it.  We are just grateful that we are here together versus last summer where I just flew back and forth.  I don't know how we did that!

Here is a tour of our place out here!

Living room, dinning area, and kitchen.
Bathroom, laundry room, and bedroom complete with Robert's Vivinted closet!

We love you all and miss everyone!
