Well it's been awhile since I have posted. Life has been crazy since we got home in August.  Robert jumped right back in to school after missing the first week.  I have been back at Dr. Whitney's office doing the Office Manager thing.  We have been busy doing a lot of things. Some of the highlights are...

1. Family Reunions
2. Temple Open Houses
3. Weddings, Wedding, and More Weddings
4. Vivint Back End Parties at Lagoon
5. Halloween Parties
6. Family Visits
7. A Trip To Loa, UT

And a ton more I cant even think of right now.

So to share some of the photos with you all here is a link to a slide show for your enjoyment!

On another note the Thanksgiving weekend has been great! Our extended weekend started on Wednesday with a trip to St. George to see two of our best friends get married in the St. George Temple.
Dane and Jaunita

We were so excited to see them get married.

Thanksgiving day we went down to St. George for the Drew Thanksgiving. We had a lot of fun and the food was to die for as always. My dad's side of the family are all killer cooks.

A lot of Roberts family was down for Thanksgiving so we were able to spend a lot of time with them. We played games went bowling went to the movies and ate even more food.

We have loved having them all here to visit.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving here is a list of things I am thankful for...

Robert and how hard working he is, he sacrifices a lot for me.  Our home that we have to live in, we are so spoiled. Family, ours is the best, they are always there for us. The Gospel, life just wouldn't be the same without it, it brings so much joy.  I am grateful for Thanksgiving it really helps us realign our priorities we have been truly blessed!

We love all of you! Hope you had a fantastic Thanksgiving as well!

Surprise, Surprise, We Moved Again!

Well it may or may not come as a surprise to you all that we relocated again! This job takes us all over the place. Don't worry though we didn't move too far this time. It was only a 7 hour drive, which no longer seems long for me. Anyways. Before we moved Robert and I had the opportunity to fly in to go to the first Lawrence Family Reunion.
We got stuck at the the Dallas airport for a little longer than we had hoped because our flight was delayed. I felt bad because Robert's brother Thomas and his FiancĂ© Lindsey  were picking us up and they had to hang around and wait for us. We have the best family! I am the luckiest and have the best in-laws around! The family reunion was a blast! Robert's sister Jamie did an awesome job of pulling the whole thing together. Everyone really enjoyed themselves. We got to learn some family history, play games, had a fun run, and a family dance complete with a disco ball and fireworks! So fun!
All reunion pics were taken by Jamie!
Well the family reunion came to an end and it was back to work for Robert. We had a week left in Abilene.
The Vivint Women's club called Elevate does events for the wives throughout the summer with opportunities to win lunches and hoodies and other things. We had one more challenge for the summer and it was to go to the movies dressed up as the movie we were seeing. We decided to take the kids to see Rio Two so we dressed up as Blue Birds.
The funny thing is that the movie times got mixed up at the theatre so we ended up seeing the movie Planes Fire and Rescue.  I'm sure everyone was really confused as to why the kids faces were painted blue and why we were wearing Mardi Gras Masks. It was still a lot of fun.
Some of the team had already left and headed down to our new home in Beaumont, TX. It was nice that we knew we were moving this time around so we had some time to get everything packed and ready! I've gotten really good at packing this summer! I can fit our kitchen, bathroom, living room, and wardrobe into four totes and a suitcase! We only take the necessities. Robert is pretty darn good at getting everything, plus other people's things, to fit in our Camry and still leave sitting room for the two of us. It's our new talent.
With limited time in Abilene I wanted to take Robert to the Fronteir Texas Museum. He really liked it! I enjoyed it the 2nd time around as well.
We are loving it here in Beaumont. Our apartment is so stinking nice! Nicest apartments we have had thus far with this job!
It's pretty homey feeling. Beaumont is even hotter and more humid then Abilene was. I have completely given up on doing my hair. It's stays in a bun the majority of the time. We are ten minutes away from Louisiana and are right by the coast. Basically we are living In the bayou. Seriously though, Robert says some of the houses he knocks are on stilts and look like homes you would only see in movies. They have gators here which is freaky to me. And the bugs are as thick as can be. I've killed a spider a day so far. It's fun to be here though we have enjoyed it.
Sorry this post is a novel and hopefully it makes sense. I'm posting from my phone because I don't have internet anymore.
I'm coming home this weekend. I am bummed that summer is over and it's back to real life. Robert will be home at the end of August and then it's back to the grind for him. We are so blessed to have so many adventures! We love you all!

Exploring Abilene!

Texas has been so great and we have had a ton of fun here.  The fourth of July was fantastic.  It the one day the whole summer the boys get to come home early! Its so fun. While the guys are gone though all the girls get together and have a pot luck at the pool. Meghan and I made a fruit pizza it was so yummy and it turned out pretty cute.

The fireworks in Abilene were probably some of the best fireworks I have ever seen.  They do them by the zoo and have a live band. We had a ton of fun. It was such a nice night.

We have done some other fun things as well.  Meghan and I decided to go check out a Museum here in Abilene called Frontier Texas.  It was really neat. We learned a lot about Texas history and how it all started.  It was really interesting and the Museum was really interactive we enjoyed it a lot.

This Stagecoach was in Little House on the Prairie and The Three Amigos

We also went to the zoo.  It's a smaller zoo but they had quite a few animals.  We got to see them feed a alligator and the guy that fed him almost got bit it was pretty intense.  It was sooo hot that day though. I think our favorite part was the reptile house because it was air conditioned.
Feeding the Giraffes

Meghan left this week to go to a family reunion. It's been weird not having my friend here.  I have to come up with ways to entertain myself.  If it wasn't so hot I would go outside more but the heat is crazy here. You start sweating the moment you walk outside because of the humidity. It's wonderful at night though.

The ward here is teeny tiny but everyone is so nice. They are all excited that we are there. Its so funny we played Bingo in relief society. Its a lot of fun.

Texas has been great.  Robert has been having so much success and we are truly blessed! Love you all.

Our Last Days in Minnesota

So we made the 18 hour trek to Texas safely with no problems. We are loving Texas! People really are so nice here.  Our Utahn accent may fit a little bit better here too, though it is not near as strong as a Texan's!  At least they call bags "bags" and not "begs".  Texas is quite a bit hotter then Minni. The only time I have had to pull out a sweater is when we are at home and Robert and Blaine have turned the AC on full blast to cool down from the hot day they had knocking doors.  It is more humid however.  We are living with our friends Blaine and Meghan by the way.  We were limited on apartment options since we were taking over a smaller teams spot.  We each have our own room and bathroom which is wonderful and we just decided to split the grocery bill evenly which works out perfectly.  It's fun having a friend to hang out with while Robert is working all day.  It also makes cooking and cleaning super quick. We still have mosquitoes here some of the boys' ankles look like they have a skin disease because they have been bitten so much. Their farmer tans are also quite hilarious.  It was fun living in Minneapolis but I think the team is a lot happier here in Texas! I do miss my yoga class though :).

While we were still in Minnesota we were able to do a few more things before we left.  We went to the Minneapolis Art Park.  I don't really understand any of the sculptures there at all but they are giant structures that are fun to look at and it was the perfect day for a picnic so we enjoyed it.  Plus we had to get a picture by the famous giant spoon holding a cherry!

The Boys

We also were able to go to the Mall of America. We were there for 4-5 hours and we didn't even come close to seeing the entire thing! It was fun though and they have just about any store you can think of.  Some of our favorites were the Lego store, the American Girl Doll store (I always wanted to go there when I was little), and the Nike store.  The amusement park in the middle of the mall was way sweet as well. Our feet were aching by the time we left.
Dragon made of Legos

It was fun being in that city with so much to do there.  I wish we could have spent a little more time there to see some other sites. Maybe we will have to visit there again some day.

It has rained a couple of times here but not nearly as often as it did in Minnesota. Texas has wicked thunder storms though that are incredible.  Abilene may be in the middle of nowhere but this city is a lot larger then I ever thought it would be.  We are in a awesome location as well with lots of things near us.

Things are going well and we are really enjoying it here. I can't believe summer is nearing it's end.  It will be weird to have a schedule again!

Twins Game

We went to a Twins baseball game.  I don't typically love baseball but I am always up for the experience!  It was a lot of fun.  We rode a train to the Target Field.  Public transportation is one of my favorite things, even though I feel like I need to bathe right after.  I could definitely be a professional people watcher and trains are the best place to do that.

Our seats weren't way close to the field but we had a great view where we could see everything.  The only downside is we needed some shade!  It was so hot. Don't worry I bathed in sunscreen every three minutes and so did Robert so we didn't fry. Robert almost melted though. We were so sweaty.

Check out that sky line!
The the Twins played the Astros, and the Astros slaughtered the Twins. Rough game.  We did try bought some $50.00 Garlic Fries and $100.00 Hot Dogs, Who ever invented concessions is a genius! That place must pay the athletes wage! The food was good though. I think the atmosphere makes it taste better.

It was fun going to the game and they had some really nice plays.  Plus I got to spend time with Robert which makes anything better.

Some other things that have been going on this past week...

I signed up for a hot yoga class with my friend Meghan.  It has been a lot of fun I had no idea that yoga could be such a great work out.  I have never sweat so much in my life. They heat the room to 105 degrees to help improve your flexibility and help you sweat out toxins.  Lets just say it sounded like a faucet was leaking through out the room with all the dripping.  I like it a lot.

Robert did really well this week and his guys that he brought out are starting to catch on as well.  All in all it has been a great week.  We are loving our adventure!

Love you all!

The Twin Cities

Well we finally decided to get internet. I am thrilled because I can finally catch up on my TV shows (The Bachelorette yes I love the drama of it, Bones, The 100, etc.), I don't have to risk going over on my data again, and I am able to blog.

So a little update for everyone.  This Summer Robert's job with Vivint has taken us to the beautiful state of Minnesota.  Right before I left everyone was telling me how beautiful it was here.  However, when we first got here I didn't think that it was that pretty, Seattle and Portland last year far surpassed.  Turns out they had just had an extremely cold and long winter and its May's extreme showers, thunder, and lightening that bring June flowers. It is so pretty here everything is really green and full, and they aren't kidding about the land of 10,000 lakes.  The temperature stays pretty nice but due to all the rain it is quite muggy and humid, and the mosquitoes are awful, bug repellent is a staple just like deodorant.  I also feel bad for all the guys on the team. They have had to knock in the pouring rain quite frequently. In fact one of the guy's car engine got flooded and he got stranded in the area he was knocking.

We live in a place called Eden Prairie. It's a really nice area in a great location! You can walk to Walmart and lots of other stores which is bonus for me because Robert has our car the majority of the time. Our apartment complex is pretty nice. We are living in an apartment that is designed for wheelchair access which is odd.  all out lets are two feet from the ground and the light switches are located three feet from the ground. This took some getting use to especially when you got up to go to the restroom in the middle of the night and couldn't find the light switch on the wall.  The front door has two peep hole one up high and one in the middle of the door, and you could comfortably sit under the stove and sinks with a chair.  We don't have a tub.  Just a roll in shower.  Its pretty spacious for the two of us though and we like it.  We are just grateful that we are here together versus last summer where I just flew back and forth.  I don't know how we did that!

Here is a tour of our place out here!

Living room, dinning area, and kitchen.
Bathroom, laundry room, and bedroom complete with Robert's Vivinted closet!

We love you all and miss everyone!
